The Vision of Labour commission stands as ‘Empowered and united Workers enjoy Justice & Equality’.  The Commission for Labour in the Diocese of Gulbarga envisages to promote dignity of all persons and the dignity of Labour for the workers especially in unorganized sector. The aim of the commission is to foster greater understanding of workers towards their families, their rights, and obligations as citizens and as workers in the society. Empowerment of Workers to restore dignity, justice and rights through collaboration and networking is the primary aim of the commission.

Objectives:

  • To enhance the capacity of workers to build unity and secure their rights
  • To organize and empower the Workers
  • To get the identity for unorganized workers
  • Networking with other commissions / NGOs / Government and likeminded people
