 ST.  MARY PRE-UNIVERSITY COLLEGE, KALABURAGI

St. Mary Pre-University College is a religious minority institution run by the Gulbarga Diocese Educational Society for the education of Catholic youth, which has also been at the service of others without any distinction of caste or creed.

St. Mary Pre-University College was established in 2006 with the college code: KK179. It has complied with all the rules and regulations of the Department of  Pre University Education, Government of Karnataka. The college began with the Science stream. It offers Physics, Chemistry, Maths and Biology. Ever since it has shown tremendous progress. Eventually there was a pressing need to start the Commerce section. Presently there is HEBA (History, Economics, Business Studies and Accountancy) and SEBA (Statistics, Economics, Business Studies and Accountancy). The college has consistently kept up the results above 90%.

St. Mary’s PU College has a majestic building with the state of the art infrastructure. It has well equipped labs. It’s library consists various books. It has a counselling cell. There is personal attention given to each student. The bright students are encouraged to score better and the weaker ones are supported through the remedial classes. The college offers Spoken English classes freely.

St. Mary’s believes in the overall development of the student. Success in St. Mary’s is not defined just in terms of academic excellence, but in directing its educational efforts to make future leaders, with a holistic combination of intellectual competence. While we don’t compromise on academics, we aim at forming students with social concern, conscience, compassion and personal and moral values. Down the years, our students have made our institution proud. Our students have contributed positively to the society at large.  St. Mary’s institution is still growing and moving into the future. As long as there are the young to be taught and formed, the work will be unfinished.

So with ‘Love and Care’ the St. Mary’s Institution keeps moving on.
