GDES had organised Prathibha Karanji in view of Bhalki Jathra for the boarding children of all our Catholich Institutions, which was held on 26th October 2019. About 250 children participated. Children were motivated to grow in faith and wisdom and form themselves for better future.

Feast of the Nativity of B.V.M and Girl Child Day was celebrated very meaningfully in all the parishes and centres of Gulbarga Diocese on 8th September 2019. Flower offering, Blessing of the new corn and Sharing and eating the family meals were commonly followed in every centre.
Bhalki Mission team organised a day’s Retreat for the Elderly Persons at Bhalki on 4th August 2019. Rev. Fr Thomas D’Souza celebrated the Eucharist and offered special prayers for the elderly persons.
