During the period of 29-31 August 2023, the Archdiocese of Caritas Prague made a visit to the Gulbarga diocese. A warm welcome was extended by the Bishop and his team to Dr. Jaroslav, Mrs. Paula, Ms. Barbara, and Economa, as well as Fr Edwardo, the Vice Chairman, as they met the privileged children from the Balajyothi CSP program, the Nava Chethana CSP program, and the Carmel Seva Trust at St Joseph PU College in Bidar. As a result of the sponsorship program, a few beneficiary children have expressed gratitude and intellectual growth in terms of their academic performance. In addition, they also had the opportunity to meet the directors and staff of Seva Sangam, the social development center at Kotnoor, and the Mother Theresa Charitable Hospital at Gulbarga. In his meeting with the officials, Dr Jaroslav, the Director of Caritas’ Central Office, reviewed the activities and progress of the Gulbarga diocese, which are being carried out faithfully by the organization.
