Ruby Jubilee celebration of Bidar Mission celebrated in a grand manner at St. Joseph’s Church, Bidar. Thanking the Lord, the celebration began with Adoration followed by the solemn Eucharist. Most Rev Dr. Robert Miranda, Bishop of the Diocese celebrated the Holy Eucharist and proclaimed the Word of God. Symbols of the Ruby Jubilee were carried by priests from each zone and placed on the frame. The stage program was held at St. Joseph’s Church Hall, Bidar. Through the video, the historical development of the Bidar Mission was displayed on the screen. Five of the first five catholic families responsible for the Bidar Mission, two sisters Sr Christine AC, Sr Evline UFS who have served the diocese for the past twenty years, and the family of NR Luke were honored on this occasion. In his presidential address, the Bishop recalled the historical significance of the Bidar Mission. With the fellowship meal, the celebration came to an end. Fr Wilson Fernandes the Parish Priest and his mission team organized the event meaningfully .
