ವಿದ್ಯಾ ನಿಧಿ ಯೋಜನೆ – ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಸಾಲ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹಾಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ

ಗುಲ್ಬರ್ಗಾ ಧರ್ಮಕ್ಷೇತ್ರವು ಆರ್ಥಿಕವಾಗಿ ದುರ್ಬಲರಾದ ಕಥೋಲಿಕ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ವಿದ್ಯಾ ನಿಧಿ ಯೋಜನೆ (VIDYA NIDHI SCHEME)ಅನ್ನು ಆರಂಭಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು. ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿ ಡಿಗ್ರಿ/ ಪದವಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ/ ಸ್ನಾತಕ ಪದವಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪದವಿ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಪಡೆಯುವ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಸಾಲ ಮತ್ತು ಸಹಾಯ ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
ಈ ಯೋಜನೆ ಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಕೆಳಗಿನ ಕೋರ್ಸ್ಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನ್ವಯಿಸುತ್ತದೆ: ಡಿಗ್ರಿ/ ಪದವಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ/ ಸ್ನಾತಕ ಪದವಿ ಮತ್ತು ಪದವಿ ಮಟ್ಟದ ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಕೋರ್ಸುಗಳು, ಪ್ರೊಫೆಷನಲ್/ ವೃತ್ತಿಪರ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ/ ವೃತ್ತಿಪರ ಪದವಿ ಕೋರ್ಸುಗಳು, ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಹಾಗೂ ಉದ್ಯೋಗೋನ್ಮುಖ (Job-oriented) ಕೋರ್ಸುಗಳು, ಆಯ್ದ ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಕೋರ್ಸ್ಗಳು, PUC ಮಟ್ಟದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಈ ಯೋಜನೆ ಅನ್ವಯಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

ಅರ್ಹತಾ ಮಾನದಂಡಗಳು (Eligibility Criteria) / ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಅರ್ಹತೆ CET/NEET:
೧. ಉದ್ಯೋಗೋನ್ಮುಖ ಡಿಗ್ರಿ ಕೋರ್ಸುಗಳು – ಕನಿಷ್ಠ 70%
೨. ಡಿಪ್ಲೊಮಾ / ITI / ಪ್ಯಾರಾಮೆಡಿಕಲ್ ಕೋರ್ಸುಗಳು – ಕನಿಷ್ಠ  60 %
೩. ಪ್ರೊಫೆಷನಲ್ ಮತ್ತು ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ (MBBS,, ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರಿOಗ್, PG) – ಕನಿಷ್ಠ 7೦%
೪. ಮೆರಿಟ್ ಸೀಟುಗಳಿಗೆ CET/JEE ಮತ್ತು NEET ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತೀರ್ಣರಾಗಿರಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ಕನಿಷ್ಠ 7೦% ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಅಂಕಗಳನ್ನು ಪಡೆದಿರಬೇಕು.
೫. ಹಿಂದಿನ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳ (SSLC, PUC, DEGREE) ಫಲಿತಾಂಶಗಳನ್ನು ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಅರ್ಹತೆ
೧. ಅರ್ಜಿದಾರರು ಆರ್ಥಿಕವಾಗಿ ಬಡ ಅಂಚಿನ ಕುಟುಂಬಕ್ಕೆ ಸೇರಿದವರಾಗಿರಬೇಕು.
೨. ಪೋಷಕರ ಆದಾಯ, ಉದ್ಯೋಗ, ಕುಟುಂಬ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಅವಲಂಬಿತರ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
೩. ಅರ್ಜಿದಾರರು ಕಥೋಲಿಕ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳೆದು ನಿರಂತರ ವಿಸ್ವಾಸ ಪಾಲಿಸುತಿರಬೇಕು ಮತ್ತು ಧರ್ಮ ಕೇಂದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕ್ರಿಯರಾಗಿರಬೇಕು.
ಕೆಳಗಿನವರ ಶಿಫಾರಸ್ಸು ಅಗತ್ಯ: ಧರ್ಮ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಗುರುಗಳ / ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರು & ಧರ್ಮ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಪಾಲನಾ ಪರಿಷತ್ತಿನ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ / ಅನುಮತಿ

ಪ್ರಾಮುಖ್ಯತೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗುವ ಕೋರ್ಸುಗಳು: ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಉದ್ಯೋಗೋನ್ಮುಖ ಕೋರ್ಸ್ಗಳು, ಶಿಕ್ಷಕ ತರಬೇತಿ ಕೋರ್ಸ್ಗಳು, ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಕೌಶಲ್ಯ ಆಧಾರಿತ ಕೋರ್ಸುಗಳು .  NOTE : ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ Career Guidance ಸಹ ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
ಅರ್ಜಿಯ ಪ್ರಕ್ರಿಯೆ
ಹಂತ – ೧ (ಧರ್ಮ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಮಟ್ಟ) – ಅರ್ಜಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ದಾಖಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಧರ್ಮ ಕೇಂದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು, ಅರ್ಹತೆ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ನಂತರ ಅರ್ಜಿಗಳನ್ನು ಧರ್ಮಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ / GDES) ಕಳುಹಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
ಹಂತ – ೨ (ಧರ್ಮಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ /GDES ಮಟ್ಟ) – ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಪೋಷಕರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಹಾಜರಾಗಬೇಕು, ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಸಮಿತಿಯಿಂದ ಅಂತಿಮ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಅನುಮೋದನೆ
ಅವಶ್ಯಕ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳು: ಭರ್ತಿಮಾಡಿದ ಅರ್ಜಿ ಫಾರ್ಮ್, ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಅಂಕಪಟ್ಟಿ, ಆದಾಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಪತ್ರ, ಶಿಫಾರಸ್ಸು ಪತ್ರಗಳು, ಕಾಲೇಜು ಪ್ರವೇಶ ದೃಢೀಕರಣ ಪತ್ರ
ಸಾಲ ಮರುಪಾವತಿ ನಿಯಮಗಳು
೧. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗೆ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ದೊರೆತ ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ಮರುಪಾವತಿ ಆರಂಭವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
೨. ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ದೊರೆತ ದಿನಾಂಕದಿoದ ೩ ವರ್ಷಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಸಾಲ ಮರುಪಾವತಿ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು.
೩. ಇಬ್ಬರ ಭದ್ರತೆ (Surety)) ಕಡ್ಡಾಯ.
೪. ಸಾಲ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಗೆ ಮೊದಲು ಒಪ್ಪಂದ ಪತ್ರ VIDYA NIDHI SCHEME) ಮಾಡಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.
ಅರ್ಹ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಕ್ಷಣವೇ ತಮ್ಮ ಧರ್ಮ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಗುರುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಲು ವಿನಂತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

                                                                               VIDYA NIDHI SCHEME

Vidhyanidhi Loan through the Benevolent Charity of Mr. Michael D’Souza & Family Educare Endowment Fund 2025-26

The Diocese of Gulbarga is launching the VIDYA NIDHI SCHEME with the objective of supporting economically weaker Catholic students in pursuing higher education. Under this scheme, educational loan and financial support will be provided to students pursuing Degree (Graduate), Professional, Technical, and Higher Education programmes.
Scope of the Scheme: This scheme is applicable mainly to the following courses – Degree / Graduate and Higher Education programmes, Professional / Vocational Degree courses, Technical and Job-oriented courses and Higher Education programmes. Note that this scheme is NOT applicable to PUC-level students.

Eligibility Criteria: Academic Eligibility
1. Job-oriented Degree Courses – Minimum 70% aggregate
2. Diploma / ITI / Paramedical Courses – Minimum 60% aggregate
3. Professional and Higher Education Courses (MBBS, Engineering, PG Programmes) – Minimum 70% aggregate and CET/JEE or NEET must be cleared.
4. For merit seats, candidates must have passed the CET/JEE and NEET exams and secured at least 70% academic marks.
5. Academic performance in previous examinations (SSLC, PUC, Degree) will be evaluated holistically.

Socio-Economic and Pastoral Eligibility:
 Applicants must belong to economically poor or marginal families and the socio-economic status of parents will be assessed based on income, occupation, family background, and dependents and Applicants must be Practicing Catholics, living an active faith life, and should be actively involved in parish life.
Recommendations: From the Parish Priest / Mission Director is mandatory.
Preference will be given to students pursuing – Technical and job-oriented courses, Teacher education programmes and Healthcare and skill-based courses. Student please get ready. Register yourself for CET/JEE & NEET and the other eligible TEST.
Note: Career Guidance will also be provided to students.

Application Process
Stage – I (Parish Level) – Collection of applications and required documents at the Parish / Mission Centre, Verification of eligibility, and Forwarding of applications to the Diocese / GDES
Stage – II (Diocesan / GDES Level) – Students must appear along with parents and after that Final scrutiny and approval will be done by the Selection Committee

Documents Required
1. Duly filled application form
2. Academic mark cards
3. Income certificate / proof of income
4. Recommendation letters
5. College admission confirmation / provisional letter

Loan Repayment Terms
1. Repayment shall commence only after the student secures employment.
2. The loan amount must be fully repaid within three (3) years from the date of employment.
3. Two Persons’ Surety / Guarantor is mandatory.
4. A formal Loan Agreement (MoU) shall be executed prior to disbursement.

  • Each church will have a committee appointed by the Parish Priest to review and approve applications.
  • Approved applications, signed by the PPC Vice President and the Parish Priest, should be sent to CODP either by the parish office or the student before the due date.
