ವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಧಿ ಯೋಜನೆ: ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಹಾಯ ಯೋಜನೆ

ಮೈಕೆಲ್ ಡಿ’ಸೋಜಾ ಮತ್ತು ಫ್ಯಾಮಿಲಿ ಚಾರಿಟೀಸ್ ಅವರ ಉದಾರ ಸಹಕಾರದೊಂದಿಗೆ, ಗುಲ್ಬರ್ಗಾ ಧರ್ಮಕ್ಷೇತ್ರವು ಆರ್ಥಿಕವಾಗಿ ಹಿಂದುಳಿದಿರುವ ಕಥೋಲಿಕ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಲು ನೆರವಾಗುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ “ವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಧಿ ಯೋಜನೆ” ಎಂಬ ಮರುಪಾವತಿ ಆಧಾರಿತ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ನೆರವು ಯೋಜನೆಯನ್ನು ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ಆರಂಭಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ.

ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿ ಪದವಿ, ವೃತ್ತಿಪರ, ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಅರ್ಹ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅವರ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ವೆಚ್ಚಗಳನ್ನು ಭರಿಸಲು ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ನೆರವು ನೀಡಲಾಗುವುದು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ವಿದ್ಯಾಭ್ಯಾಸವನ್ನು ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸಿ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಪಡೆದ ನಂತರ, ಯೋಜನೆಯ ನಿಯಮಾನುಸಾರ ಪಡೆದ ನೆರವನ್ನು ಮರುಪಾವತಿಸಬೇಕು. ಮರುಪಾವತಿಯಾದ ಈ ಮೊತ್ತವು ಮತ್ತೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಧಿ ನಿಧಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿ, ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇನ್ನೂ ಅನೇಕ ಅರ್ಹ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕೆ ನೆರವಾಗಲಿದೆ.

ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯು ಪ್ರತಿಭಾವಂತ ಹಾಗೂ ಅರ್ಹ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವನ್ನು ಮುಂದುವರಿಸಿ ಸ್ವಾವಲಂಬಿಗಳಾಗಲು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸುವುದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ, ಭವಿಷ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಗುಲ್ಬರ್ಗಾ ಧರ್ಮಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಕಥೋಲಿಕ ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಕೊಡುಗೆಯನ್ನು ನೀಡುವ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯ ಮನೋಭಾವವನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದೆ.

ಯೋಜನೆಯ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿ

ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯು ಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಈ ಕೆಳಗಿನ ಕೋರ್ಸುಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನ್ವಯಿಸುತ್ತದೆ:

• ಪದವಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ನಾತಕೋತ್ತರ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ

• ವೃತ್ತಿಪರ ಪದವಿ ಕೋರ್ಸುಗಳು

• ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್, ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಹಾಗೂ ನರ್ಸಿಂಗ್ ಕೋರ್ಸುಗಳು

• ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ತರಬೇತಿ ಕೋರ್ಸುಗಳು

• ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ, ಡಿಪ್ಲೊಮಾ, ಐಟಿಐ ಹಾಗೂ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಾಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಕೋರ್ಸುಗಳು

ಸೂಚನೆ: ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯು ಪಿಯುಸಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನ್ವಯಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ.

ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಅರ್ಹತೆ

೧. ಉದ್ಯೋಗಾಧಾರಿತ ಪದವಿ ಕೋರ್ಸುಗಳು – ಕನಿಷ್ಠ ೭೦% ಅಂಕಗಳು (ಪಿ.ಯು.ಸಿ.).

೨. ಡಿಪ್ಲೊಮಾ / ಐಟಿಐ / ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಾಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ / ಪ್ಯಾರಾಮೆಡಿಕಲ್ ಕೋರ್ಸುಗಳು – ಕನಿಷ್ಠ ೬೦% ಅಂಕಗಳು.

೩. ವೃತ್ತಿಪರ ಹಾಗೂ ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಕೋರ್ಸುಗಳು (ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್, ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ, ನರ್ಸಿಂಗ್, ಸ್ನಾತಕೋತ್ತರ ಮುಂತಾದವು) – ಕನಿಷ್ಠ ೭೦% ಅಂಕಗಳು. ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವಲ್ಲಿ CET / NEET / COMED-K ಅಥವಾ ಸಂಬಂಧಿತ ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತೀರ್ಣರಾಗಿರಬೇಕು.

೪. ಹಿಂದಿನ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳ (ಎಸ್.ಎಸ್.ಎಲ್.ಸಿ., ಪಿ.ಯು.ಸಿ., ಪದವಿ) ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಸಾಧನೆಯನ್ನೂ ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು.

ಸೂಚನೆ: ದ್ವಿತೀಯ ಹಾಗೂ ತೃತೀಯ ವರ್ಷದ ಪದವಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು, ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ತರಬೇತಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ವೃತ್ತಿಪರ, ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಮತ್ತು ಉದ್ಯೋಗಾಧಾರಿತ ಕೋರ್ಸುಗಳನ್ನು ಓದುತ್ತಿರುವ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಆದ್ಯತೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗುವುದು.

ಕುಟುಂಬದ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಆದಾಯದ ಅರ್ಹತೆ

• ಪದವಿ, ಸ್ನಾತಕೋತ್ತರ, ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ತರಬೇತಿ, ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ, ಡಿಪ್ಲೊಮಾ, ಐಟಿಐ ಹಾಗೂ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಾಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಕೋರ್ಸುಗಳಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಜಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಆದಾಯ ₹೪,೦೦,೦೦೦ ಮೀರಿರಬಾರದು.

• ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರಿಂಗ್, ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ, ನರ್ಸಿಂಗ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ವೆಚ್ಚದ ವೃತ್ತಿಪರ ಕೋರ್ಸುಗಳಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಜಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಕುಟುಂಬದ ವಾರ್ಷಿಕ ಆದಾಯ ₹೬,೦೦,೦೦೦ ಮೀರಿರಬಾರದು.

ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಧಾರ್ಮಿಕ ಅರ್ಹತೆ

ಅರ್ಜಿದಾರರು ಆರ್ಥಿಕವಾಗಿ ಹಿಂದುಳಿದಿರುವ ಕಥೋಲಿಕ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರಾಗಿರಬೇಕು. ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಆದಾಯ, ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯನ್ನು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿ ಮೌಲ್ಯಮಾಪನ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುವುದು.

ಅರ್ಜಿದಾರರು ಹಾಗೂ ಅವರ ಕುಟುಂಬದವರು ಧರ್ಮಕೇಂದ್ರದ ವಿಶ್ವಾಸ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಕ್ರಿಯವಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವವರಾಗಿರಬೇಕು.

ಶಿಫಾರಸು

ಧರ್ಮಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಧರ್ಮಗುರುಗಳ ಅಥವಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರ ಶಿಫಾರಸು ಪತ್ರ ಕಡ್ಡಾಯವಾಗಿದೆ.

ಸೂಚನೆ: ಮಂಜೂರಾಗುವ ನೆರವಿನ ಮೊತ್ತವು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಯ ಅರ್ಹತೆ, ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ, ಕೋರ್ಸ್‌ನ ಶುಲ್ಕ, ಲಭ್ಯವಿರುವ ನಿಧಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಜಿ.ಡಿ.ಇ.ಎಸ್. ವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಧಿ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ನಿರ್ಧಾರವನ್ನು ಅವಲಂಬಿಸಿರುತ್ತದೆ.

ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ೨೫ ಜುಲೈ ೨೦೨೬ ರೊಳಗೆ ಕೆಳಗಿನ ಲಿಂಕ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಆನ್‌ಲೈನ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಅರ್ಜಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಬಹುದು.

ಅರ್ಜಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವ ವಿಧಾನ

ಮೊದಲ ಹಂತ

• ಅಗತ್ಯ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಜಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವುದು.

• ಧರ್ಮಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಧರ್ಮಗುರುಗಳ ಅಥವಾ ಕೇಂದ್ರದ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಿಂದ ಅರ್ಹತೆಯ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ.

• ಅರ್ಹ ಅರ್ಜಿಗಳನ್ನು ಧರ್ಮಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಆಯೋಗದ ಕಚೇರಿ / ಜಿ.ಡಿ.ಇ.ಎಸ್.ಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸುವುದು.

ಎರಡನೇ ಹಂತ – ಧರ್ಮಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ / ಜಿ.ಡಿ.ಇ.ಎಸ್. ಮಟ್ಟ

• ಜಿ.ಡಿ.ಇ.ಎಸ್. ವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಧಿ ಸಮಿತಿಯಿಂದ ಅರ್ಜಿಗಳ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆಯ್ಕೆ.

• ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ೧೦ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ ೨೦೨೬ ರೊಳಗೆ ಮೊಬೈಲ್ ಅಥವಾ ಇ-ಮೇಲ್ ಮೂಲಕ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಲಾಗುವುದು.

• ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಪೋಷಕರು / ಪಾಲಕರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮೂಲ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಸಂದರ್ಶನಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಜರಾಗಬೇಕು.

• ಅಂತಿಮ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯನ್ನು ೩೦ ಆಗಸ್ಟ್ ೨೦೨೬ ರೊಳಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು.

ಅಗತ್ಯ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳು

೧. ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಭರ್ತಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ಅರ್ಜಿ ನಮೂನೆ.

೨. ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಅಂಕಪಟ್ಟಿಗಳು.

೩. ಆದಾಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಪತ್ರ / ಕುಟುಂಬದ ಆದಾಯದ ದಾಖಲೆ.

೪. ಧರ್ಮಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಧರ್ಮಗುರುಗಳ / ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರ ಶಿಫಾರಸು ಪತ್ರ.

೫. ಕಾಲೇಜಿನ ಪ್ರವೇಶ ದೃಢೀಕರಣ ಪತ್ರ / ತಾತ್ಕಾಲಿಕ ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಪತ್ರ.

೬. ಜಿ.ಡಿ.ಇ.ಎಸ್. ಸೂಚಿಸುವ ಇತರೆ ಅಗತ್ಯ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳು.

ಮರುಪಾವತಿ ನಿಯಮಗಳು

೧. ವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಧಿ ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿ ನೀಡಲಾಗುವ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ನೆರವು ಮರುಪಾವತಿ ಆಧಾರಿತ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ನೆರವಾಗಿದೆ. ಫಲಾನುಭವಿಯು ಮರುಪಾವತಿಸುವ ಮೊತ್ತವನ್ನು ಮತ್ತೆ ವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಧಿ ನಿಧಿಗೆ ಸೇರಿಸಿ, ಇತರ ಅರ್ಹ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಬಳಸಲಾಗುವುದು.

೨. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಯು ಅನುಮೋದಿತ ಕೋರ್ಸ್ ಅನ್ನು ಅಭ್ಯಾಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವುದೇ ಮರುಪಾವತಿ ಮಾಡುವ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಯು ಉದ್ಯೋಗ, ಸ್ವಯಂ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ, ವೃತ್ತಿ, ವ್ಯವಹಾರ ಅಥವಾ ಯಾವುದೇ ಆದಾಯ ತರುವ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಮರುಪಾವತಿ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಗಬೇಕು.

೩. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಯು ಕೋರ್ಸ್ ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಂಡ ನಂತರ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು (೧೨) ತಿಂಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಅಥವಾ ಆದಾಯದ ಮೂಲವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದದಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ, ಆ ಪ್ರಕರಣವನ್ನು ಜಿ.ಡಿ.ಇ.ಎಸ್. ವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಧಿ ಸಮಿತಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಿ, ಫಲಾನುಭವಿಯ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಪರಿಗಣಿಸಿ ಮರುಪಾವತಿಯನ್ನು ಮುಂದೂಡಬಹುದು, ಕಡಿಮೆ ಕಂತುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾವತಿಸಲು ಅನುಮತಿಸಬಹುದು ಅಥವಾ ಸೂಕ್ತ ಮರುಪಾವತಿ ವೇಳಾಪಟ್ಟಿಯನ್ನು ನಿಗದಿಪಡಿಸಬಹುದು.

೪. ಮರುಪಾವತಿ ಆರಂಭವಾದ ದಿನಾಂಕದಿಂದ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಮೂರು (೩) ವರ್ಷಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಸಂಪೂರ್ಣ ಮೊತ್ತವನ್ನು ಮರುಪಾವತಿಸಬೇಕು. ಸೂಕ್ತ ಕಾರಣಗಳಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ, ಜಿ.ಡಿ.ಇ.ಎಸ್. ವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಧಿ ಸಮಿತಿಯು ಮರುಪಾವತಿ ಅವಧಿಯನ್ನು ವಿಸ್ತರಿಸಬಹುದು.

೫. ಒಬ್ಬ ಖಾತರಿದಾರ (Guarantor) ಕಡ್ಡಾಯವಾಗಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾದ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ನೆರವು ಬಿಡುಗಡೆಗೊಳ್ಳುವ ಮೊದಲು ನಿಗದಿತ ಒಪ್ಪಂದ ಪತ್ರ, ಖಾತರಿ ಪತ್ರ ಹಾಗೂ ಅಗತ್ಯ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸಬೇಕು. ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಯು ಕೋರ್ಸ್ ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಂಡ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಹಾಗೂ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ, ಸ್ವಯಂ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ, ವೃತ್ತಿ, ವ್ಯವಹಾರ ಅಥವಾ ಯಾವುದೇ ಆದಾಯ ತರುವ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದ ತಕ್ಷಣ ಜಿ.ಡಿ.ಇ.ಎಸ್.ಗೆ ಲಿಖಿತವಾಗಿ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಬೇಕು.

ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಸೂಚನೆಗಳು

ಧರ್ಮಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಧರ್ಮಗುರುಗಳು ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತಮ್ಮ ಧರ್ಮಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸೂಕ್ತವಾಗಿ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿ, ಅರ್ಹ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಅಗತ್ಯ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ೨೫ ಜುಲೈ ೨೦೨೬ ರೊಳಗೆ ಆನ್‌ಲೈನ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಅರ್ಜಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾರ್ಗದರ್ಶನ ನೀಡಲು ವಿನಂತಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

ಅರ್ಹ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಈ ಮರುಪಾವತಿ ಆಧಾರಿತ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ನೆರವನ್ನು ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯುತವಾಗಿ ಬಳಸಿಕೊಂಡು, ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಪಡೆದ ನಂತರ ನಿಯಮಾನುಸಾರ ಮರುಪಾವತಿ ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಭವಿಷ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಇತರ ಅರ್ಹ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳೂ ಇದರ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನ ಪಡೆಯಲು ಸಹಕರಿಸುವಂತೆ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ.

ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಮಾಹಿತಿಗಾಗಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಧರ್ಮಕೇಂದ್ರದ ಧರ್ಮಗುರುಗಳನ್ನು ಅಥವಾ ಜಿ.ಡಿ.ಇ.ಎಸ್. ಕಚೇರಿಯನ್ನು ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸಬಹುದು.

ಮಂಜೂರಾಗುವ ನೆರವಿನ ಮೊತ್ತವು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಯ ಅರ್ಹತೆ, ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿ, ಕೋರ್ಸ್‌ನ ಶುಲ್ಕ, ಲಭ್ಯವಿರುವ ನಿಧಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಜಿ.ಡಿ.ಇ.ಎಸ್. ವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಧಿ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ನಿರ್ಧಾರವನ್ನು ಅವಲಂಬಿಸಿರುತ್ತದೆ.

                      VIDHYANIDHI SCHEME: EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT PROGRAMME

PARISH / MISSION CENTRE ANNOUNCEMENT

The Diocese of Gulbarga, through the generous support of Michael D’Souza & Family Charities, is pleased to launch the Vidhyanidhi Scheme, a revolving credit programme intended to support economically weaker Catholic students in pursuing higher education.

Under this scheme, eligible students pursuing Degree, Professional, Technical and Higher Education programmes may receive financial assistance to help meet their educational expenses. The assistance is repayable after the student secures employment, so that the amounts repaid may return to the Vidhyanidhi corpus and be used again for the benefit of other deserving students.

The scheme seeks to encourage capable and deserving students to continue their studies, become self-reliant, and, in due course, contribute to the educational advancement of the Catholic community in the Diocese of Gulbarga.

Scope of the Scheme

This scheme is applicable mainly to the following courses:

• Degree / Graduate and Higher Education Programmes
• Professional Degree Courses
• Engineering, Medical and Nursing Courses
• Teacher Education Programmes
• Technical, Diploma, ITI and Skill Development Courses

Note: This scheme is not applicable to PUC students.

Eligibility Criteria

Academic Eligibility

1. Job-oriented Degree Courses – Minimum 70% aggregate.
2. Diploma / ITI / Skill Development / Paramedical Courses – Minimum 60% aggregate.
3. Professional and Higher Education Courses (Engineering, Medical, Nursing, PG Programmes, etc.) – Minimum 70% aggregate. CET/JEE/NEET or other prescribed entrance qualification must be cleared wherever applicable.
4. Academic performance in previous examinations (SSLC, PUC, Degree) will also be taken into consideration.

Note: Preference will be given to 2nd and 3rd Year Degree students, Teacher Education students, and merit students pursuing Professional, Technical and Job-oriented Courses.

Family Income Eligibility

• Annual family income shall not exceed ₹4,00,000 for Degree, PG, Teacher Education, Technical, Diploma, ITI and Skill Development Courses.
• Annual family income shall not exceed ₹6,00,000 for Engineering, Medical, Nursing and other High-Cost Professional Courses.

Socio-Economic and Pastoral Eligibility

Applicants must belong to economically weaker Catholic families. Their socio-economic status will be assessed based on family income, occupation and background. Applicants and their families must be practicing Catholics actively participating in the life of the Parish / Mission Centre.

Application Process

Stage I – (Parish Level)

• The student shall submit the completed application along with all the required documents to the Parish Priest / Mission Director.
• The Parish Priest / Mission Director shall, in consultation with the Vice President and members of the Parish Pastoral Council, verify the applicant’s eligibility and supporting documents, and make the necessary recommendation.
• After obtaining the verification and recommendation of the Parish Priest / Mission Director, the student shall submit the application online through the prescribed GDES application link on or before the stipulated date.

Stage – II (Diocesan / GDES Level)

• Scrutiny and selection by the GDES Vidhyanidhi Committee.
• Shortlisted students will be informed by 10th August 2026 through email/mobile.
• Students shall attend the interview along with their parents/guardians and produce the original documents.
• Final selection will be communicated on or before 30th August 2026.

Documents Required

1. Duly filled Application Form.
2. Academic Marks Cards.
3. Income Certificate / Proof of Family Income.
4. Recommendation Letter from the Parish Priest / Mission Director.
5. College Admission Confirmation / Provisional Admission Letter.
6. Any other documents prescribed by GDES.

Repayment Terms

1. The assistance granted under the Vidhyanidhi Scheme is a revolving credit and shall be repaid so that the amount may be used again for other deserving students.

2. No repayment shall be required while the student is pursuing the approved course. Repayment shall commence after the student secures employment, starts self-employment, professional practice, business, or otherwise begins earning income.

3. If the beneficiary does not secure employment or earn income within twelve months from completion of the course, the matter shall be reviewed by the GDES Vidhyanidhi Committee, which may consider and permit nominal instalments, or fix a suitable repayment schedule based on the beneficiary’s circumstances.

4. The amount shall normally be repaid within three years from the commencement of repayment, unless extended by the GDES Vidhyanidhi Committee for valid reasons.

5. A guarantor is mandatory. Selected candidates shall execute the prescribed Agreement, guarantee and other required documents before disbursement. The beneficiary shall inform GDES immediately after completion of the course and again after securing employment, self-employment, professional practice, business, or any other earning income.

Final Instructions

·        Parish Priests and Mission Directors are requested to announce this scheme and guide eligible students in submitting their online applications with the required documents on or before 25th July 2026.

·        Eligible students are encouraged to make responsible use of this revolving credit assistance, so that, through repayment after employment, other deserving students may also benefit in future.

·        For details, students may contact their Parish Priest / Mission Director or the GDES office.

·        The amount sanctioned will depend on merit, financial need, course fees, availability of funds and the decision of the GDES Vidhyanidhi Committee.
