Training of Parish Pastoral Committee members was held at Mary Mother of Divine Grace Cathedral for the Gulbarga Deanery and at sacred Heart Church, Bidar for Bidar deanery on 9-10th March. There was a very good attendance of PPC members along with the Parish Priests and superiors of the communities. Fr. Vincent Thoras, the secretary of Laity Commission coordinated the whole programme beautifully. Fr Stany Goveas, the Dean of Gulbarga Deanery welcomed the gathering. Fr Santhosh Dais moderated the whole session and PPC members from various parishes shared their involvement in the parish activities. They also presented their future plans in their respective parishes. Bishop Robert Miranda thanked the PPC Members for their active participation in their parishes and gave his insights for betterment of lay participation through formation of catholic association.
