On February 10, 2024, a significant event took place at the Infant Jesus Shrine in Bhalki as Bro. Francis and Bro. Rejironald were ordained to the diaconate by Bishop Robert Miranda, the Bishop of Gulbarga. This sacred ceremony marked a pivotal moment in their journey of service to the Church and the community. Bishop Robert Miranda presided over the ceremony, accompanied by clergy members, family, friends, MCA Children and well-wishers. During the ceremony, Bro. Francis and Bro. Rejironald publicly pledged their obedience to the Church and its teachings, affirming their readiness to serve God and His people. Through the laying on of hands and the prayer of consecration, Bishop Miranda conferred upon them the sacrament of Holy Orders, officially ordaining them as deacons. As ordained ministers, they are called to be servants of the Word, proclaiming the Gospel and ministering to the spiritual and material needs of the faithful. Their dedication and selflessness serve as an inspiration to others, reminding us of the importance of service and humility in the Christian life.
