The celebration of Bhalki Jathrostva 2024, the annual feast of Infant Jesus Shrine, Bhalki, took place at Bhalki Mission on 8-10 November 2024. The celebration of Jathra began in Bhalki City with the procession of the Infant Jesus. Most Rev Dr. Robert Miranda, bishop of Gulbarga, Priests, Sisters, and Laity joined in the solemn procession. Various plots in the procession brought gospel values to people of other faiths. After leading the first Novena in the shrine, Rev FR Clary D’souza celebrated the holy Eucharist. The inter-Denomination Bhajan competition was held under the leadership of Fr Vincent P.
On 9 November 2024 Most Rev Dr. Derrick Fernandes, Bishop of Belgaum celebrated the Holy Eucharist. On the second day of the celebration, there was Bible Patana, a proclamation of God’s word, adoration, and a night vigil.
On 10 November 20224 as a thanksgiving celebration Bishop of Gulbarga, Most Rev Dr. Robert Miranda presided over the Holy Eucharist. All Priests and Sisters who served in the Bidar mission were felicitated and thanked on this occasion. As a part Inter-Religious Gathering, various religious leaders were present on this occasion. A Jathra fag was lowered by the bishop to conclude the celebration.
