On 3 December, 2021 the three young seminarians of Gulbarga Diocese were ordained as deacons by Most Rev Dr Robert Miranda, Bishop of Gulbarga at Mother of Divine Grace Cathedral, Gulbarga.
The ordination rite of the diaconate was celebrated with a solemn Eucharistic celebration. Rev Fr Stany Goveas proclaimed the Gospel after which Rev Fr Stany Lobo the Vicar General of Gulbarga Diocese presented Bro Aron Vas, Bro Sachin Christy and Bro Abhishek Moses as the candidates to raise them to the Clerical Order.
The newly ordained deacons were felicitated. Priests, religious, parents, friends, and relatives of the deacons witnessed the solemn celebration of the day.
