Mission Orientation Program for the newly arrived priests, sisters, and brothers for the Bidar Mission was held at Sacred Heart Church, Bidar on Thursday, 16 June 2022. Most Rev Dr. Robert Miranda, the Bishop of the Diocese, has described the Diocese’s beginnings and rapid growth. Rev Fr Stany Lobo, Vicar General gave insight into the pastoral plan of the diocese. Fr Gerald Sagar insisted on knowing the people and their culture in order to serve as better missionaries. Fr Clary D’Souza shared his missionary journey in the Gulbarga Diocese. The Bidar Deanery has been enriched with the addition of 25 newly appointed missionaries who attended the training and benefited from its contents.
