The feast of Mother Theresa was celebrated in ORBIT on 5th Sep 2019. The programme began with meaningful Eucharistic celebration con-celebrated by five priests. The entire staff of ORBIT and some of the invitees too participated in the mass. Blood Donation Camp of ORBIT in honour of Mother Theresa, in collaboration with ICYM was inaugurated by Fr. Anil Crasta, Director of ORBIT. Mr. Theerthappa Beemshetti, Senior Health Observer of Humnabad Taluk was the chief guest for the programme. He appreciated the laudable service of organizing the blood donation camp every year and contributing towards saving life. “Blood donation is the premier level of all donations one can make”, he said. Mr. Abdul Samad, Senior Technician of Blood Bank, Bidar and Team, Sr. Nancy, secretary, Commission for Women and Fr. Livin, President, CRI Bidar were present for the inauguration. ORBIT staff and Directors of various mission centres along with youth and others, sisters from different convents donated blood.
