Parish Family Cell training was successfully held at the Cathedral and Bhalki mission on 24-25 September 2022 by the Family Commission. Mr Leslie Arauzo, the Regional Deputy Secretary of the Family Commission was the resource person for the event in both places and spoke on the importance of family cells in the parish. Each parish sent the best exemplary couple who lived more than 10 years of family experience to participate in the marriage enrichment program. Bishop in his introductory speech quoted from the ‘Amories Letitia’ apostolic exhortation of Pope Francis that all family life is a “shepherding” in mercy. Each of us, by our love and care, leaves a mark on the life of others… seeking to bring out the best in them. And the bishop also requested Parishes to begin the family cell apostolate in the family. Fr Lawrence Arun, Commission secretary organized the whole event beautifully.
