St. Peter School, Shahapur, marked a significant milestone in its journey of educational service with the Inauguration and Blessing of the newly constructed St. Peter High School Block on Thursday evening at the St. Peter School Campus, Devi Nagar, Church Road.
The new school block was inaugurated and blessed by Most Rev. Dr. Robert Michael Miranda, Bishop of Gulbarga and President of the institution, in the presence of religious leaders, civil authorities, education officials, parents, and well-wishers. The new facility is expected to strengthen the school’s infrastructure and enhance the learning environment for students in and around Shahapur.
The programme was graced by distinguished guests, including Poojya Shri Gurupaada Mahaswami of Shri Fakireshwara Mata, Shahapur, Mr. Amjad Hussain, District Organiser of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Yadgir, Rajayogini BK Usha Behen of Brahmakumari, Shahapur, Mr. Jeevan Kumar, Commissioner of TMC, Shahapur, and Mr. Yashwanth Haragi, Block Education Officer, Shahapur. Their presence highlighted the spirit of interfaith harmony and cooperation in the field of education.
The Guests of Honour included Very Rev. Fr. Santhosh Bapu, Vicar General of the Diocese of Gulbarga, Mr. Balappa Kavali, CRP, Shahapur, and Mr. Naveen, Vice President of St. Peter Church, Shahapur.
