Training programme for the Team of Prison Ministry, India took place on 24th August 2019 at Sugyan, the pastoral centre for the Gulbarga Diocese at Kotnoor. Rev. Fr. Benny Joseph, The Regional Coordinator for the Commission of Prison Ministry, India was the resource person of the day.Fr Benny had given some practical guidelines as well as precautions to how effectively the team members can do the prison ministry. Bishop, Fr. Stany Lobo and Sr. Reena D’Souza SspS were also on the dais. While giving the Introductory message bishop said that, he is fully aware of the prison ministry being carried out in the jails and sub jails in different talukas in the diocese and called upon everyone to be led by the Gospel message. The resource person took the sessions till 1.30. 20 members participated from four districts . Fr. Roshan Dsouza thanked every one.
