Kalaburagi, 27 July 2024: The CRI Gulbarga Diocese, under the leadership of Most Rev. Dr. Robert Miranda, held a significant meeting at Mother Theresa Hall, Kalaburagi, on 27 July 2024. The event began with a prayer song led by the sisters, setting a reverent tone for the proceedings. Sr. Vasantha, Secretary of CRI Gulbarga Diocese, welcomed the dignitaries with roses. Distinguished attendees on the dais included Bishop Robert Miranda, Rev. Fr. Stany Lobo (Vicar General), Fr. Francis SJ (Resource Person), Fr. Maxim Misquith (CRI President), and the Presidents of each deanery.
In his presidential speech, Bishop Miranda praised the dedicated service of the religious in the diocese. He drew a compelling analogy between the leadership of Moses in the Bible and the story of Exodus, connecting it to the life and journey of the diocese. This theme resonated deeply with the attendees, emphasizing the importance of leadership and guidance. Fr. Francis SJ, the resource person for the event, delivered an inspiring talk on “Religious Life Journey Towards Hope.” He explained the significance of the Jubilee Year logo and its relevance to the religious community, offering a message of hope and perseverance.
The meeting included a thanksgiving Mass celebrated by Bishop Robert Miranda, where participants joined in expressing their gratitude to God. The event concluded with Sr. Vasantha SspS thanking all attendees for their presence and contributions.
