Deanery-level training on the Basic Ecclesial Communities was held in Gulbarga and Bijapur, respectively, on 16 and 17 July. During the program, the Bible was enthroned and a short prayer service was held. The regional secretary of BEC, Rev Fr George Vincent Lobo, provided insight into the topic. To build basic communities, various groups were made and discussed the given topics. Fr. Gulbarga Deanery Dean Santhosh Dais and St Ann Church Parish Priest Rev Fr James SJ delivered inaugural messages. In conjunction with the deaneries and diocesan commission secretary for BEC, Rev Fr Clary D’Souza organized a meaningful day of events.
