The clergy of the Diocese of Gulbarga celebrated the Day of Consecrated Life along with the CRI Gulbarga Diocese on 4 January 2023 at Mother Theresa Hall, Kalaburagi. Rev. Fr James Gonsalves SJ, Parish Priest of St Ann Church, Bijapur, was the resource person for the day and spoke on “the enrichment of the call to the consecrated life.” After that, he led the group in sharing their vocation story and how God intervened. Adoration, Confession, and Holy Eucharist were held to thank the religious in the Diocese. Rev Stany Lobo, Vicar General celebrated the Holy Eucharist, Fr Anup OCD proclaimed the Word of God. Various Games and entertainment programs were held for the religious by students of St Mary PU Collage, Kalaburagi. The parish priest of Mother of Divine Grace Cathedral, Kalaburagi, honored and remembered the Historical Contribution of the various religious congregations. The clergy, Fr Maxim SJ, and CRI Gulbarga Diocese organized and coordinated the event. Around 200 priests and religious participated in the event.
