The Bethany Sisters of Western Province celebrated The Golden Jubilee of Vidya Rani Convent and Shisuvihar Higher Primary School, Chittapur on 28 February 2023. Most Rev. Along with the 14 priests of the diocese, Bishop Miranda of Gulbarga celebrated Holy Eucharist. Bishop preached the homily, focusing on the biblical background and the significance of the jubilee celebration, and the importance of the service of religious life. A grand felicitation program was held on the occasion of the Golden Jubilee. Most Rev Dr. Robert Mirand; Bishop of Gulbarga, Very Rev Sr. Sally B.S the Provincial Superior of Western Province, Sri Umakanth Halle, Sr. Pierin B.S, and other eminent distinguished guests were present on the dais. During the program sisters as well as teachers those who rendered their tireless service for the growth of the institution were honored.
