The Joint meeting of Council of Priests and Diocesan Pastoral Council held at Sugyan, Pastoral Centre on 21st March 2019. The resources persons Rev. Fr Milton Gabriel Gonsalves, the CCBI Secretary of the Family Commission spoke on the theme ‘Family Apostolate’ based on the encyclical ‘ Femiliaris Consortio’ by Jhon Paul II. Fr. Cleavon Gomes, The Secretary of Youth Commission highlighted the main points of the Synod of Youth. Thereafter, the participants had group discussion on the questionnaire on both the themes. Bishop appreciated the outcome of the both session and he gave his concluding remarks. Fr. Joseph Praveen, the secretary of the council of Priests and Mr. Praveen Paul the secretary of DPC, Mons Stany Lobo, Vice President DPC and around 35 members were present for this joint meeting that made a good number of Decisions on Family and Youth apostolate in the diocese.
