The YSM training was held for the students of Bidar and Gulbarga deaneries on June 29, 2024, at Mother Teresa Hall, Gulbarga. Fr. Stany Lobo, the chief guest, addressed the gathering, encouraging the students to be goal-oriented and live value-based lives. In his speech, Fr. Praveen Joseph told the children, “As your goodness is seen now, let it also grow as you grow. Your goodness should rule your life.”
Students of Bethany School, Gulbarga, presented the YSM report. After the report, certificates were distributed by the dignitaries to those who attended the YSM regional convention in Bangalore. Fr Sachin Christy, the YSM Director of Gulbarga Diocese, said that the goal of the Youth Commission is to establish YSM in every school in the diocese because YSM sets a broader mindset for children. Mr. Anson Nazareth, the National YSM President, was the resource person. Students were made aware of the importance of YSM, and a cell meeting was also conducted.
