In honor of Mother Theresa, the patroness of ORBIT, a Blood Donation Camp was organized at ORBIT, Humnabad on 3 September 2022. Fr. Stany Lobo Vicar General of Gulbarga Diocese, MLA Rajshekar D Patil and Mr. Rshimkhan MLA and former minister of Bidar, Mr. Manjunath Panchal, Dr. Nagnath CMO of Humnabad and Sr. Leena ICYM Coordinator, Dr. Satheesh Blood Bank Bidar, Mr. Laxman Rambulla the former District Minister of Bidar and Mr. Siddrama, Fr. Victor Vas the Director of ORBIT, staff of ORBIT, Press reporters from Basavakalayn, Chitguppa and Humnabad taluka and Bidar district blood bank staff were present to witness the memorable occasion. 70 blood donors participated in the event, and 52 people were found eligible to donate their blood. The festival Eucharist was celebrated on the following day and Bishop Robert Michael Miranda celebrated the Holy Eucharist along with priests of the Gulbarga Diocese. He invited the crowd to follow the spirit of St Mother Teresa and serve humanity with the same zeal as her.
