On 9 August 2022, the Social Communication commission and the Basic Ecclesial Community commission organized a seminar for priests and sisters at Mother Theresa Church Hall, Kalaburagi. During the daylong session, Rev Fr Joachim Fernandes, Diocesan Commission Secretary for Mangalore Diocese, and Rev Dr Sudeel Paul MSFS, Regional Commission Secretary for Social Communication and Director of Sandesh, Mangalore, were the resource persons.They delt on New evangelization and Media: an Effective tools for Evangelization. The Bishop blessed and inaugurated a new mobile app for the Diocese of Gulbarga that was built by Fr Roshan Dsouza, the commission secretary for Media and Social Commission. Fr Clary a Dsouza nd Fr Roshan Dsouza organied the whole event beautifully.
